• Final Transcript News! Your final transcript will be sent to the campus that you noted on your Exit From by mid-June. LHS registrar, Ms. Lentz, processes final transcripts. Direct questions and/or updated transcript requests her way.

• The CRC hosted the 2024 Community Scholarship Awards Breakfast on April 18th. Congratulations to our LHS scholarship recipients and THANK YOU to our generous community donors!
  
• Need help with the FAFSA? Check out these step-by-step how-to videos or connect directly with our ISAC partner, Emily Coveny at emily.coveny@illinois.gov or 847-309-4510 for individual assistance with your application.

• Check out the SUMMER RESOURCES section of the CRC Google Classroom to support any action steps you can take over the summer related to your college applications.
• Curious about what the Common App is and how to use it? Review the CRC Common App Guide and remember to check the Class of 2025 Google Classroom for additional resources.
  
• Build and finalize your application list over the summer. By the time you return to school in August, we hope you have a defined list in mind with consideration of affordability and selectivity. A healthy number of applications to manage is 9 (or less!). Check out our College & Career Exploration Guide to help you find your place and your path!
• Explore SchooLinks, our new College & Career platform. Refer back to the onboarding slides that counselors shared in your US History classes recently to help you explore your options.
• Curious about the Letter of Recommendation process? Review advice shared by counselors at your Class of 2025 Meeting in March or check the Class of 2025 Google Classroom for step by step directions of how to ask for and confirm your letters.
  
• For an even quicker review of required forms, check out the Teacher Letter of Rec form, Counselor Letter of Rec form and Senior Parent Questionnaire when you are ready (and definitely by 9/13/25!)
• Planning a college visit this summer? Great idea! Consider these questions to ask on college visits to get the most out of each trip!
• Curious about the ACT or SAT? Review the All About Testing Quick Guide, watch the recording of our testing overview with Compass Prep and consider your testing plan now.

• Review your updated transcript at the end of the semester! Note your cumulative GPA, credits earned and overall academic history. Set goals for junior year! Your transcript tells your academic story, and you are in control of how that story is written. Any questions, reach out to the CRC or your LST counselor.
• How will you spend your summer? Check out IACAC's Summer Activities Guide for ideas of how you might enhance or enrich your interests this summer. Our D128 Job Board is also a great resource for summer work ideas.
• Accept the invite to your Class of 2026 CRC Google Classroom that was sent in April.
• Explore College & Career options in your free time, ask all of your questions and consider what you want for your future!
