Good Things at West Side Elementary
Today was a special day for West Side students. We had an official ribbon cutting ceremony for our FREE book library. This library is located in front of the school and is for everyone to use. You may take a book at any time and you may also give a book to the library if you wish. This is a gift from our friends and students at the High School. Today, we had local news stations filming our ribbon cutting ceremony and talking with kids.
We also had the Elkhart Public Library at school and they were distributing books to many of our K-3 students during lunch today. We hope you can visit both libraries this summer. Keep Reading all summer long!
This summer the West Side Book Bus will also visit the local community centers. We hope to have information out to you later today or tomorrow.
Tomorrow, May 27th is our Annual Field Day. Then Friday is a virtual day and our last official day of the school year!
