Week Fourteen: A Much Deserved Break π§‘
This has been a week full of reminders of thankfulness and we are thankful for all of you (and this week long break on the horizon π).
On Wednesday our fourth graders had a Thanksgiving breakfast with their families and the turnout was fantastic. There were a lot of happy faces (and full stomachs) in the cafeteria as everyone gathered together for an opportunity to eat, craft, and just spend quality time together. Thank you to everyone who was able to attend and provide food.
On Friday we had a very special PV version of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Students made their own balloons and we marched through the hallways to music. There were some very creative balloons in the mix and it was a lot of fun for everyone. See the PV Facebook for more pictures of this event.
Reminder: our parent survey is still open. Please take the time and fill this out...it should take you less than five minutes to do so; the link is below.
Enjoy your week off. We hope you have the opportunity to spend quality family time together and we look forward to seeing everyone back to school on December 2.
Reminder for our fourth graders: Monday, December 2 is our Sherman Lake Camp Day!!! Be to school on time as we will be eating breakfast and boarding the bus first thing. Dress for the weather (layers) as some activities will be inside and some will be outside.

Prairieview Elementary will be participating in GOTR again this year. This is a program for 3rd and 4th grade girls. The mission of GOTR is to inspire girls to be joyful, healthy and confident using a fun, experience-based curriculum which creatively integrates running.
Registration for GOTR will open on December 1, 2024 and will remain open through February 1, 2025. See link below to register your student.
See future newsletters for more details on this amazing program.
Parent Survey: We Want To Hear From You!!!
Survey Reminder - Please take a few minutes to complete our family survey if you have not already done so. Your feedback will help us improve student success and strengthen our learning environment.
The survey takes less than five minutes to complete. Your time is very much appreciated.
Your responses are confidential, and honest feedback will guide our efforts to create a supportive school environment for everyone.
The surveys are an important part of our strategic planning process. If you have children at more than one Lakeview school, please complete a survey for each school using the survey link specific to that building.
Thank you for your continued support and partnership. Together, we can make our school the best it can be!
