Message From Our Principal
Happy Friday BWE Families,
As you may have read in an email earlier this week, BWE along with our entire Grand Oaks feeder, is working toward High Reliability School (HRS) certification. Our feeder principals have collaborated on this video to share more information with you. If you haven’t already, we’d love for you to complete this survey, sharing your honest feedback on what’s going well at BWE and opportunities for us to improve. We are eager to begin this work and will use your feedback along with staff and student feedback to drive continuous improvement and ensure that BWE is the best place to be!
We’re excited to welcome our veterans to campus for a celebration in their honor on Veterans Day. The link to include your veteran in our annual celebration has been updated. Click the link for details on how to include your veteran in our celebration.
Next week is Red Ribbon Week, when we highlight the importance of living a drug-free life. Our counselors have planned a week of themed days for students to participate in, with a focus on living drug free. Thursday is our annual storybook parade. We hope that you’re able to join us and see all of our strong characters who don’t do drugs parade in their costumes.
BWE Sight Based Decision Making Committee is still seeking a community member and business owner to complete our committee. Candidates or candidate contact information can be emailed to lhagebusch@conroeisd.net. Details for our remaining October activities and upcoming November activities are included below for your reference. See you tonight at Trunk or Treat!
Have a great weekend,
