Glocester Libraries' Easter Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 5, 11 a.m.
Glocester Town Hall Lawn, 1145 Putnam Pike, Chepachet
Age Level: Children ages 10 and under
No registration required.
Join us for our annual Easter Egg Hunt! Children will be split into ages 0-5 and ages 6-10, with groups getting their own side of the lawn. Please bring your own basket or bag. Candy donations are welcome in the weeks prior to the event at the Harmony Library or the Glocester Manton Library. Note: We strongly recommend arriving ten minutes prior to 11 a.m., as the hunt begins right when the church bell rings. The rain date will be April 12th at 11 a.m. Posts will be made on Facebook if needed.

Youth of all ages, discover the indoor craft table at both libraries. Each library is different, so be sure to visit both places.
Weekly Take and Make Crafts

Children of all ages, visit both libraries weekly to pick up a craft! Craft kits will be different at each location. Some kits may require help for younger crafters.
Hummingbird Tracking

We will be tracking hummingbirds as they make their way back to Rhode Island. Come check out a map that will be displayed at both libraries along with some activities.
Goosebumps Books and Movie Club
Monday, April 7, 21, and 28 – Sign up once for all three sessions, 4:15 p.m.

Join us for this Book Club with a movie! During the month of April, visit Miss Kat weekly as she reads aloud Goosebumps: Stay Out of the Basement. The first two weeks, we will read together and then the third week, we will watch the episode together with pizza! Snacks will be provided each week.

All About Birds - Hummingbirds

Explore the life of birds with the Audubon Society of RI. Observe our feathered friends – their feathers, feet, beaks, nets, and eggs. Discover where birds live and how their adaptations help them survive in their habitat.

Share your writing with your peers! The Harmony Library Writers’ Group is open to writers in all genres and forms, including poetry. Bring a sample of your work to read and get feedback from fellow writers. For information, phone Pat Kenny, Reference and Technology Librarian, at 949-2850. Note: The group begins with a social half-hour at 6 p.m., before meeting formally at 6:30 p.m.
Cookbook Club

Our cookbook author for April, Erin French, a native of Maine, is known for her dedication to using local ingredients and her support of native farmers. We will be using her book, Big Heart, Little Stove.
This is how the club works: every month, members pick up a copy of that month's cookbook selection at the library and choose a recipe to make and prepare for the next month's meeting. We will sample each other's dishes and discuss our cooking experiences. Note: Because of limited space, there will now be a waiting list for new members. Fearless Art

This art club is guided by the likes and interests of its members. In the past, we have explored graphite, charcoal, colored pencils, and watercolor. We will continue with watercolor and begin to focus more closely on botanical watercolor projects. You will find the Fearless Folks to be creative, supportive, and kind.

Decorative Spring Flower Pots

Just in time for spring, we will be using paint and mod podge to decorate terracotta pots that can be used in the garden or as part of home décor. Participants should register for only ONE session. Note: Registration opens on Tuesday, April 1 at 6 p.m.
