District Update
January 2024

Hello East Ramapo Community,
This week we welcome the season of spring, and in East Ramapo Central School District that means more outdoor recesses, spring sports, school musicals and college decision-making. March is also Women's History Month, and we have launched the third annual East Ramapo exclusive Regent Judith Johnson Sheroes Series. Once again, this original series is presented by students from all 14 of our schools and highlights the women who have contributed to the East Ramapo Central School District Community and the accomplishments of different legendary female heroes.
I invite the East Ramapo community to consider attending one of the upcoming town hall meetings on either April 8th or April 12, where I will discussing the proposed school budget. Be sure to mark your calendars for the budget vote on May 21!
Enjoy this edition of Roundup Notes, which will bring you up to speed on some of the happenings taking place around the District.
Sincerely,
Dr. Clarence G. Ellis
Superintendent of Schools
