PRAIRIE POST
June 7, 2019
Message from the Principal
This is the final Friday of the 2018-2019 school year. I have to tell you it is not easy for me to send this Prairie Post as it will be the last Prairie Post as the Principal of Prairie Elementary School. I have no idea where the time has gone. The previous four years have just flown by. I want to take this time to say thank you for opening your arms to my family and me for the past four years. I have been moved by your kind words and gestures that have taken place over the last week. For example, the Third Grade Scholars decided to turn their BoxTop Celebration into a Celebration of Appreciation for Mr. Griffin. We had a selfie booth, Batman and Marquette Decals, and Strawberry Ice Cream. I was completely unaware that today was Prairie Bow Tie Day. I even had the opportunity to join our 5th Grade Scholars on their visit to Carroll University and show them the classroom that I taught in last semester. I need you to know that you will truly be missed. You will be in great hands with Principal Solberg. With that being said, I look forward to seeing all of our scholars on Monday, our official last day of school. We have several activities that will take place to engage our scholars. In addition, our 5th Grade Clap Out will begin at 3:20 p.m.. Please join us as our 5th graders walk out of the doors of Prairie for the last time. Always remember, we are BETTER TOGETHER!!! For your information, my forwarding email address is dgriffinjr@browndeerschools.com. Please stay in touch!
