Term 3 Week 6 - Thursday 22nd August 2024
Prayer
Lord God,
You are my strength.
Hold my hand in my weakness and teach my heart to fly.
With you, there’s nothing to fear, nothing to worry about.
Hold me tight in your embrace,
So that I can be stronger than the challenges in my life.
Amen
Dates to Remember
Ms Lee-Anne Oliver Funeral Service
The funeral service for Ms Lee-Anne Oliver will take place at 12noon next Tuesday (27th August) at the Queen of Apostles Church. The school staff will be attending this service, and classes/students will be supervised by teachers and education assistants from other CEWA schools that have offered to help. If any parents would like to take their child/children to the service, they are welcome to sign them out from the school office. I again would like to thank our community for their lovely flowers, gifts and messages of support. Please keep Lee-Anne's family in your thoughts and prayers.
Staffing
At the end of the school year Ms Caroline Hunneybun (Finance Officer) will be leaving us to move onto her next challenge. Caroline has done an amazing job in her role over the past 4.5 years and it’s fair to say the school is in a much better financial position now that it was when she started. I thank Caroline for her work ethic, dedication to task and friendship during her time at the school and wish her all the best for the future. We are currently advertising the Finance Officer role and will let you know once the position has been filled.
