Welcome to the Husky Family
Ms. Niazi, AVID / Dual Identified EML, School Counselor
Our family has grown by one! We would like to welcome Ms. Niazi to our counseling team, officially. Get to know our new team member:
- Born and raised in Corona
- Earned her bachelor's degree at Cal State Fullerton
- Earned her master's degree at the Univ. of La Verne
- Attended a performing arts high school for creative writing
- Competitive and loves strategy games
- Fun Fact: Solo-Backpacked through Asia for a month

Saturday Success Academy
The return of Saturday Success Academy (SSA) is here! Please join your school counselors on September 10th and 24th from 8: 30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for academic support. Centennial's esteemed International Baccalaureate and Middle Years Program students will be in attendance providing peer support for all students. If your student(s) plan to attend, please be aware that they are committing themselves to stay for all four hours of SSA. We look forward to seeing you there!
College and Career Spotlight
Every month, your school counselors will highlight a college and/or career. If you would like more information regarding the month's "spotlight", make sure to reach out to your counselor or Ms. Villalobos, our college and career specialist.

CSU college nights are back and want you to join in on the fun! All 23 CSU campuses' are happy to be back in person to meet with your students and get them excited about their college future. The event is free and a great opportunity for students to learn key information regarding admission requirements, the Cal State Apply application, financial aid, and more.
