Join us and become an AUTHORIZED Riverview Volunteer
All volunteers in the Thompson School District must be registered before they are authorized to volunteer at the schools.
This is includes, but is not limited to, activities such as:
Assisting in your child’s classroom
Chaperoning your child’s field trips
Volunteering at events
Register by going to: tsd.org/get-involved/volunteer
Click New Volunteers (blue box)
Tip: Consider registering your spouse at the same time as yourself!
FYI: If you registered last year, you do NOT need to reregister!
Once you register, the district will provide Riverview with your personalized volunteer badge. When you arrive at the school to volunteer, just find your badge at the front office desk and log in to the volunteer system. This helps us keep track of all the wonderful volunteer hours provided by our Riverview families!
Attendance
Attendance and punctuality are crucial elements for academic success. We kindly request that parents work with their students to prioritize regular attendance and timeliness.
To report excused absences, parents are advised to use either the parent portal or the attendance line, which is 970-613-6666. Click here to learn how to request an absence.
If you have any concerns regarding missed assignments, please contact your student's teacher(s).
Lastly, if your child is marked absent for any period during school hours while they are present, please reach out to their teacher(s).
Annual Family Check-In
Thank you to Riverview families who have already completed the Annual Family Check-In (AFC). Riverview has a completion rate of 76% of our students for the AFC. Way to go!
Parents/Guardians, if you have not already completed the AFC, please login to your parent portal to complete the check-in or follow this link:
https://www.tsd.org/enrollment/afc
Completing the AFC verifies district permissions for your student as well as updates your family's information in the Infinite Campus system. Thank you!
