One of the many fun activities we have during March is Reading Month is welcoming in guests to read and tell stories to children. Pictured above, storyteller Laura Raynor, who has visited our young Gators for more than 20 years, shares her interactive stories while having students participate by helping her make motions and sounds to match the words.

Pictured below is one of our newest Board of Education members, Meredith Riggan Maurer, who spent time with two of our kindergarten classes, shared a couple of her favorite books/authors, and sat with students to hear their favorite books, characters, and why they love to read :)

It has become a tradition for a grade level to present what they are learning and just generally excited about as part of our monthly PTA meetings. This time around, 3rd graders from Mrs. Costello's class (along with Mrs. Costello) shared the new learning about crayfish and Gimkits...and no, the two are not related :)

It has become a wonderful tradition across the district to host an annual STEAM Fair where students have the opportunity to shine and put their creativity and problem-solving on full display.

We are excited to welcome author Suzanne Lipshaw during March is Reading Month. Mrs. Lipshaw will be with us on Tuesday, March 18th to share her books and talk to us about what the writing process.
