Not many schools would take their entire K-2 student body on a walking field trip to a Chocolate Church to see a show about recycling, but the Dike-Newell students are so awesome, we did it! We had a wonderful walk to the show, enjoyed a 45-minute "Enviroganza" with Jack Golden, (a.k.a. Dr. T with a phD in Garbology) and a walk back. The weather was perfect, student behavior was top notch, and we really enjoyed the show! Great job Dike-Newell School, and thank you Chocolate Church, Matthew Glassman, and Casella for sponsoring our excursion. We can't wait to go see another show!

Mid Coast Hospital, in partnership with the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety, will be offering free car seats for distribution to Maine residents who qualify and free car seat inspections for the general public.

Appointments are available between 9am-1pm the first Wednesday of the month at the Parkview campus, 331 Maine St., and the third Wednesday of the month at The Welcome Center on Venture Ave, Brunswick Landing. Do you want your stuffies to have a fun sleepover at school?! Let's help the PTA raise some money! The grade witht he most money will get to bring in a stuffy, and leave them at school OVER NIGHT to have a fun filled sleepover. What crazy adventrues will your stuffies have at school without you?! Bring in your spare change to the office and we'll put it in your grades collection jar!
