Principal's Message
Thomas families,
Here at Thomas, we are a kindergarten through fifth grade school…and let me tell you, those two age groups are light years apart! Those adorable kindergarteners have backpacks that are bigger than they are, the sweetest little voices, and are oozing with energy. The fifth graders are mature, stylish, and able to think through some really complex topics.
But despite all that, there are things that fifth graders and kindergarten students have in common! They both crave independence- even though it looks different. They both care deeply about justice and fairness. And they both value the friendships they make at school!
Check out this video that was made with the input of our fifth grade and kindergarten teachers: Mrs. Keaton, Mrs. Kuess, Mrs. Storm, Mrs. Tucker, Mrs. Anders, and Mrs. O’Brien. It’s fun to get this peek inside their classrooms…a day in the life!
Go Tigers,
Melissa Garris
