Dear CCPS Families,
As we complete our first month of the school year, I want to take a moment to reflect on the exciting start we've had and share some important upcoming events.
The beginning of the school year has been filled with enthusiasm, fresh ideas, and new opportunities for our students. I am proud of our teachers and staff for their dedication and hard work, which have laid a strong foundation for the months ahead. Our students have quickly settled into their routines, and I’ve seen remarkable growth in both academic and social-emotional areas.
I am also excited to announce that we will be hosting the CCPS College and Career Fair on Wednesday, October 2, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Elkton High School. This event is an excellent opportunity for our students and families to explore various post-secondary options, including colleges, universities, vocational schools, and career pathways. We encourage all families to attend and take advantage of the resources available to help students plan their futures.
