Announcements & Updates
- Mountain View Middle School will host its Winter music concert on Wednesday, January 15, beginning at 6:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend.
- 8th grade parents: The second installment for the 8th grade trip to Gettysburg/Hershey, in the amount of $157.50, is due by January 27.
- A reminder to parents that when a delayed opening schedule (10:30 a.m. start) is in place, there are no before-school activities. This includes extra help, clubs, and morning STEM lab. Supervision starts at 10:15 a.m.
- With many students receiving new technology for the holidays, Administration would like to remind parents that per BOE policy 5516, cell phones and other electronic communication devices, which includes Smartwatches, must be deactivated and stored in lockers during the school day and during school activities before and after school. Consequences for violating this policy include parent pick-up of the device, detention, and for habitual offenses, in-school suspension. Further, the use/wearing of headphones, including AirPods, in the hallways is not permitted.
