We had a fun time watching A Goofy Movie!

We are in the beginning stages of planning for teacher appreciation week.

If you have any ideas of what you think we should sponsor or would like to volunteer to help with our activities please let us know by responding to the form linked below.

Some ideas that we are already working on include a Family Crew sponsored lunch and various goodie and treats throughout the week.

We would love to hear your thoughts on past events and any ideas you might have for future events. Click the link below to be taken to our interest survey. Your responses help us plan future events for the GEMS community.

We are currently planning for summer and next school year. Have an idea of something you would like to see Family Crew sponsor? Did you particularly enjoy one of our events? Please let us know your thoughts using the survey below.

Every event will have a "Volunteer or Register for event updates" banner below the event details. This is a link to the event signup genius.

We are offering an RSVP function. There is no need to RSVP for these events. However, your RSVP will send you an automated event reminder several days prior to the event.

Some events we need extra help to make successful! If you are willing to volunteer to help during or before the event please use the same link. We'd appreciate all volunteers to sign up prior to the event so we can give you any updates and provide the co-coordinators time to recruit other help if needed so we can enjoy these events with our families too.

At Skate Zone 71 (4900 Evanswood Dr, Columbus, OH 43229).

This is a skating party and fundraiser event. A portion of the entrance fee will be sent to Family Crew and that will go toward Teacher & Staff Appreciation activities.

We have the rink just for GEMS families and friends from 5-6:30! After that it becomes a public open skate.

Admission is $5.00 with $6.00 for skate rental.

• All children 3-17 MUST pay admission & skate rental unless bringing their own skates.
• Non-Skating adults may enter for free.

Look for a flyer with more information as we get closer to the date!

• Please note a new policy of Skate Zone this year is that all adults and children must have a signed waiver and present a copy (digital) at the time of admission.

In conjunction with the theme of "Our Power, Our Planet" for Earth Day 2025 (which falls during spring break) we are inviting you to join us for our annual cleanup of the GEMS grounds and parking lots.

Many hands make light work! Students are welcome to join us. We will provide grabbers and other trash removal equipment, plastic trash bags, and have some disposable gloves available. If you have a favored pair of heavier work gloves please bring them!

This playground cleanup falls on the last day of spring break. We'd like to start the last few weeks of the school year off with clean grounds for the kiddos to enjoy.
