Dear Parents / Guardians,
I would like to take this opportunity to welcome you to the start of a new school year. Over the course of the summer, much time has been spent preparing schedules, planning for instruction and cleaning and preparing the classrooms. Within the district, there are many short and long term projects that have been or are in the process of being completed. Projects at Wall Intermediate School will be started and completed during the summer of 2025. These projects will include HVAC upgrades, new boys/girls gym locker rooms, and a redesigned TECH LAB and ART ROOM.
The final part of our preparation happens as the school and the WIS Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) coordinate schedules and set dates for events/field trips/assemblies for the school year. Listed below are a few important dates.
Student schedules will be available at 8:00 AM on August 26th. Parents should access schedules by logging into the GENESIS PARENT PORTAL. Additionally, a set of parent information forms must be read and acknowledged in the portal before you can gain access to your child's schedule. The main office will send an email/text to all parents as to when those forms can be accessed, allowing you time to complete them in advance of the schedules becoming accessible.
September 3rd (6th grade Orientation & Pizza Party)
September 4th (the first day of school), is a regular day for all students. Lunches will be served.
Students in grades 6, 7 and 8 should bring their Chromebook from home. Please make sure the Chromebook is fully charged.
Arrival / Dismissal
Student lunches are served beginning Wednesday 9/4. Please make sure that money is in their account by logging on to your child’s PaySchools account. Balances from the previous school year have rolled over.

We are looking forward to the start of what will be a great school year. As I have said for many years….Your involvement as a parent in your child’s life can never be understated. As a school, we strive to do our part in providing children with a quality educational experience. Parents and the school combined, mold and shape the social and emotional well-being of a child by showing them how exercising empathy, demonstrating kindness, displaying patience towards others and having determination can positively affect oneself and those around them.
