Greetings Poynter Families!

This week we are wrapping up the first semester. There is no school on Friday or next Monday as teachers are finishing up grades and preparing for next semester. We appreciate the work that students put into the first half of the year. Now is a great time to reflect with your students on what they are proud of and what they want to improve on in Semester 2. Grades will be posted to ParentVue next week.

In the spirit of reflection, we'd love to hear how you think we are doing. If you can find a few minutes, please complete this short survey. We will use this feedback as we look towards our second half of the year and beyond. We appreciate your time!

We have an opportunity for girls interested in STEM careers. Meet women working in STEM fields! Have fun learning new things! Use new tools! Industry professionals and hands on activities! Here's more information.

Our leadership class is putting on a spirit assembly on Thursday and we will be on a special bell schedule. School still starts and ends at the same time.

There is no school on January 31 or February 3. Friday is a grade-prep day where teachers have time to post grades and finish grading assessment. On Monday, teachers have time to set up for the second semester.

I wanted to let you know that there will be traffic cones in front of our driveway. Please do not park there as it causes a safety risk for our students crossing the street. Thank you for helping to keep everyone safe.
