Transportation Information
Families can register their cubs for transportation using the following link: Transportation Registration
Things to keep in mind -
- CISD does not offer transportation to students who live less than a mile from the campus.
- Parents or guardians must submit an Alternate Stop Request Form each school year for service to an alternate stop. Students who are not eligible for transportation services may not be allowed to request or utilize an alternate stop. Parents can request an alternate stop when you register your child for transportation.
- Transportation cannot change addresses for students. Please contact our PEIMS Clerk, Mrs. Jordan (cjordan1@conroeisd.net) for address changes or corrections. Once the address change has been made, it takes about 48 hours for Transportation to process the change.
SMART Tags
SMART Tags are important because they allow buses to load faster and then quickly move on to their routes. Additionally, SMART Tags provides and extra layer of safety for our students as they record when and where students get on and off their bus and provides bus arrival notifications.
New SMART tag cards will be provided to ALL students by the district for the upcoming school year. Returning students to CISD will only receive a new card. Returning students are expected to use their lanyard and plastic sleeve from the previous year. New students in the district will receive a card, sleeve, and lanyard.
Replacement tags will be $2 and the charge will be placed on the students Schoolcashonline account.
