Geothermal
Heat from the Earth
Geothermal energy is a clean renewable energy source
Geothermal energy uses heat from the Earths interior to heat water then it returns to the plant to generate steam to turn the turbines which causes static electricity which the transformer sends out electricity to the power grid.
Advantages/Disadvantages
Advantages are that geothermal uses natural heat from the earth to create electricity without releasing pollution into the air. It's is available in many areas and many other countries are using it so it is possible to have here in the United States. The geothermal plant would provide jobs to many workers on maintaining equipment and other needs.
Disadvantages are that it can release some harmful gases when water is returning. The area around the plant can be disrupted. Is not available in all areas.
