Saturday, February 8 at 2 & 7 p.m.
Sunday, February 9 at 2 p.m.
Four literary heroines (Elizabeth Bennet from Pride & Prejudice, Jo March from Little Women, Cathy from Wuthering Heights, and Jane Eyre from Jane Eyre) set conventionalism ablaze when they turn down marriage proposals from their equally famous gentlemen callers. What results is a mess of love, anger, grief, and bloodshed, as the ensemble struggles to reconcile romantic ideologies of the past with their modern ideas of independence.
This show is PG-13 due to mild language, mature themes, & some violence.
Points of Pride
North Scholastic Art Award achievements
The North Art department submitted student artwork to the largest art competition held in Minnesota. This year's Minnesota Scholastic Art Awards competition received some of the most creative, innovative, and technically-skilled work by 7-12th graders in the state of Minnesota. Students are judged on originality, technical skill, and the emergence of a personal voice or vision. Many students who submit their work do not receive an award.
Congratulations to all these students!
MSHSL Metro East All Conference Music Festival
17 students from Tartan and 33 from North represented 622 at the MSHSL Metro East All Conference Music Festival last Monday. It was an incredible evening of music making. Students participated in a concert featuring the Jazz Band, Concert Choir, and Concert Band.
Below are photos of the participating Tartan students. We hope you will share these with your fellow colleagues and administrators, and please if you see these students, congratulate them on their hard work and incredible musicianship!

Measles and the MMR vaccine
Minnesota has identified cases of measles in children who recently returned to the U.S. after traveling internationally. The decline in measles, mumps, and rubella (MMR) vaccine coverage, coupled with the increase in measles disease nationally and internationally, puts Minnesota at risk of additional measles cases and a measles outbreak.
MDH has information about measles and the MMR vaccine: https://www.health.state.mn.us/diseases/measles/measlesfacts.html
If your child has any symptoms, please contact your medical provider and school nurse.
