• Thank You Paras, Library Staff, and Dr. Hurla- This past week we celebrated the amazing paraprofessionals at Berryton. These folks work with students each day to encourage, inspire, and motivate them. They greet students in the morning, support learning all day long, and assist in making dismissal safe each afternoon. We also celebrated Mrs. Myers and Mrs. Denton who make the Library a fun and joyful space for all Buffalos. Finally, we will celebrate Dr. Hurla on Monday for Assistant Principal Week. • Classroom Considerations Form- Our BES team will soon be working on creating balanced classes for the upcoming school year. We welcome input from parents regarding specific needs for their children. Attached below is a form that parents can use for communicating student information with the school. Please note that this is NOT a teacher request form, and this form can be accessed until May 3, 2024.

• Supporting Student Council- Our Student Council needs your help in supporting the Helping Hands Humane Society. We will be collecting the following items until April 26, 2024. Thank you for your support and kindness.

As an elementary principal I enjoy working collaboratively with staff members to support student learning. I am passionate about continuing to learn professionally, and building relationships with staff and students at Berryton Elementary. When I'm not serving at Berryton Elementary I am usually with my husband and two sons. We can be found at sporting events, cheering on Kansas State University, or just enjoying a movie at home.
