Did you know that November is Diabetes Awareness Month? World Diabetes Day (WDD) is celebrated globally on November 14 to raise awareness about both Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes.

This month is a time when communities across the country seek to bring attention to diabetes. This year’s focus is on taking action to prevent diabetes health problems.

Student health services will be providing yearly mass vision screenings for 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 7th grade students. These screenings will begin in January. Please allow the school to test your student’s vision by signing the Vision Screening permission form.
