Scouts
"We are inviting everyone to sign-up for scouts. If you like hiking, swimming, camping, archery, climbing, adventuring in the outdoors, or have always wanted to try it, then come join us in the Scouts. It is for both Boys and Girls and for all ages. We will have a sign-up night, for students K-5th grade this Wednesday the 4th at 6pm at the school. Come join us for an evening of games and activities, with a chance to win fun prizes. We look forward to seeing you all there."
Self Care
Each week we will present new activities that you may choose to use with your child. At school, we are using similar activities that will be presented as challenges within the classroom, and as each activity is completed students will be encouraged to document their achievement on a Bingo Board (located in the Bison Cafe). You might want to do this at home! When a line is completed, students at school earn fun perks (ask them about this!), and you may choose to incentivize this at home, as well.
Here are the challenges for this week:
FOCUS: SELF AWARENESS
- Write or draw about your emotions for five minutes
- Create a colorful emoji for your mood
- Think about how your body feels with different emotions
- Make up a story about emotional characters
- Identify three things that trigger strong emotions
