L.H. Rather staff has an important shared focus on building our students; we believe in the power of the ripple effect, where if we positively influence others, they may in turn, influence another, creating a chain reaction of positive change. Our goal is to build our students academically, but also as community members through acts of service. Our students, families, and staff have stepped up to help clean the park, pick up after football games, and help make Rather the best of Bonham!

Our students had a great showing at the Fannin County Fair in Art, Cooking, and Showing! We are proud of each of their investment and hard work. This was an incredible opportunity for all of our students to participate and be recognized for their efforts.

Ms. Shedd's American History class spent some time learning about the taxes and restrictions imposed on our 'colonists' by King George III, leading to their declaration of independence. Our students loved every moment of this assignment!
