Week of January 6th
Happy New Year Chargers! 🎉
We hope you enjoyed a restful and joyful holiday season filled with cherished memories. As we step into 2025, we are excited to welcome you back to another amazing semester at Forest Meadow Middle School!
We have a fantastic start planned for the first week back. On Tuesday, January 7th, we’ll kick off with Charger Camp, a fun and energizing opportunity for students to reconnect, refocus, and prepare for success in the months ahead.
Later in the week, from Wednesday through Friday, students will take part in Middle of the Year MAP Testing. This is an important time to celebrate growth and identify areas to further support student success. Please help your student prepare by ensuring they get plenty of rest and arrive each day with a positive mindset.
We’re looking forward to a semester full of new opportunities, learning, and growth. Thank you for your continued partnership and support in making FMMS a wonderful place to learn and grow.

Joy for January
There is something about the new year that can bring excitement and hope. Prioritizing joyful quality time in January can be a great way to start the year as a family.
Questions to consider:
- What brings you and your family joy?
- What are things you can all do as a family that will bring good memories and lots of joy - share old family stories, play games, listen to music, cook a meal, cuddle up and read together?
Despite how it may feel sometimes, young adolescents still need and greatly benefit from quality time with their families!
