We also hosted our inaugural Angells Around the World event on Thursday, May 2nd. It was an intimate event attended by many of our families. We celebrated the following cultures: India, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Lebanon, Ireland and the Philippines. As special thank you to Lena Miah for organized such a wonderful event. I would like to thank the following families for sharing their rich cultures with our community with historical information, artifacts and delicious foods.
Thank you to the Yu, Adam, Rock, Doubleday, Kalique, and Sarafov families. You did an amazing job. Our hope is to have the 2nd annual event next year and have even more families to share their rich cultural history with our community. Please enjoy some pictures from the event below.
An Important Message from our PTA
The Angell Elementary School PTA knows that a strong partnership among our families, school leaders and community members is important to the success of our students and school. That’s why we are participating in the National PTA School of Excellence program, which grows partnerships between PTAs and schools to enrich the educational experience and overall well-being of all students. We need your help again! As part of the process outlined by National PTA, we are requesting our second round of feedback from families, administrators and teachers. Using the community feedback, we will reflect on our community plan. Please take 5-10 minutes to reflect on your experience at this school and complete this survey. Please complete this survey by Sunday, May 19, 2024. We also would like to invite you to join us at our next meeting on May 14th at 7 pm in the Angell Media Center. You can also email us at angellberkleypta@gmail.com with questions or concerns.

A special message from our PTA about Back to School Supply Lists
The Angell PTA is already thinking about the 2024-25 school year. The PTA has again partnered with 1st Day School Supplies to offer an optional way to purchase suggested school supply items for your student. These school supply kits have been reviewed by our staff and contain everything needed to start the next school year. Orders are due by July 1st and will be delivered to your student's classroom at Angell prior to the start of school. Please remember to order the grade level that your student will be in the fall.
