Attention AMMS Parents!
ONLY 107 PARENTS HAVE RESPONDED!
There’s still time for you to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey! These results contribute to our overall school climate rating. We want your feedback. If you haven’t already done so, click on the link below and take just a few minutes to complete it!!
Georgia Parent Survey
The Georgia Parent Survey contains 24 questions. The survey may be completed using your personal computer, smartphone, or tablet. All parents are encouraged to participate in the Georgia Parent Survey because the data will be used as part of the calculation of our School Climate Star Rating. Survey responses are anonymous, self-reported, and are submitted directly to the Georgia Department of Education for analysis. The Georgia Parent Survey is also available in Spanish. Please note that you may select the Spanish version within the survey. The Georgia Parent Survey link is posted below.

PBIS Rewards Points
Students have had the opportunity to earn PBIS rewards points throughout the month of January. Teachers will continue to issue digital points to students meeting school wide expectations of responsibility and respectfulness. Once they have enough points, students may redeem them for prizes, school-wide events, special passes, and snacks.
If you are interested in helping support our prize or special event initiatives, please reach out to Martha Bongiorno (bongiornom@fultonschools.org).

8th Grade Walking Tour Through Historical Roswell
We are excited to offer the Autrey Mill eighth grade students a walking tour through historical Roswell. Through a partnership between the Fulton County Schools Teaching Museum and the City of Roswell, Georgia history comes alive during the tour which include visits to antebellum homes, a historic chapel, the town square, and multiple “come-to-life” historical figures based on primary source documents.
The teaching museum can only accommodate 250 students at one time, so half the students will attend the trip on Monday, March 23, 2020, and the other half will go on Wednesday, March 25, 2020. We will load the buses at 9:00 a.m. and return by 1:00 p.m. for lunch. The 8th grade will have a different class schedule those two days to accommodate the trip.
The trip is free to all students, but parents must complete the permission form located HERE for their student to attend the trip. Permission forms are due by Wednesday, March 18, 2020. If a student misses the field trip due to an absence, they will not be permitted to attend on another day due to space limitations.
This is a great opportunity for 8th grade students to experience Georgia history.
If you have any questions regarding the trip, please contact me at ericksona@fultonschools.org.
Attention 6th Grade Parents - Fernbank Field Trip
The 6th grade field trip will be March 2nd and 3rd!!! Half the students will go on each day. The special exhibit at this time will be Our Senses: An Immersive Experience and the Giant Screen Movie will be Hidden Pacific 3D. We are very excited to offer this opportunity to our students!
The cost of the field trip is $30 per student, which can be paid through OSP, Online School Payment, located on the AMMS webpage.
Signed permission slips and payment were due by Friday, January 31st.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to a wonderful field trip!
