Faculty and staff are sponsoring the 3rd-5th grade Sneaker Ball at Westside Elementary in the gym on Friday, October 18, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The dance will be supervised entirely by members of staff. This dance is exclusively for Westside students. Students who do not attend Westside Elementary School will NOT be admitted to the dance. The cost of admission will be $10.00. Tickets will be sold from Monday, October 9 to Thursday, October 16 from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.

The dress code for the dance is semi-formal. Jeans and sneakers are not allowed. In addition, all school rules/guidelines apply at this event. The dance will end promptly at 7:30 p.m. Thank you in advance for your cooperation! Photos are $3.00, refreshments will be served, additional concessions will be available for purchase. All sales are final, no refunds will be given.

As a reminder, parents must have completed the digital handbook online. Students who do not have the handbook signed will not be able to attend.

Arrival and Dismissal Do's & Don'ts 🙂

1. School doors open at 7:45 am & school ends at 3:30 pm.
2. Our students should NOT be dropped off & left unattended before 7:45 am (Staff is unavailable to supervise students before 7:45 am).
3. Car riders must use the car rider line. Please do not use the front parking lot to drop off students.
4. Students arriving after 8:30 am are considered tardy and MUST be signed in the office by an adult.
5. Students leaving for early dismissal must be picked up by 3:20 pm (after 3:20 pm please use the car rider line).

Walkers Information 🚶

• All walkers will be accompanied by a Westside Staff to the front gate (Pleasant Hill Drive) or to the crossing guard (Pleasant Hill and Bernard Drive) based on what the enrolling parent/guardian indicated.
