JUNE 2024
ADMIN MESSAGE - JUNE 2024
Hello Paul Kane Families,
June is here! It’s hard to believe that we have nearly completed the 2023-2024 school year. What a year it has been! May was jam packed with many fantastic activities and events at the school. We had an incredible graduation convocation and celebration banquet this past Saturday, June 1 and are now heading into the last few weeks of classes.
The last day of scheduled classes for all grades is on June 14th. Students will then begin final exams and only attend school on exam days beginning on June 17th. Once your scheduled exams are complete, school is out for the summer! Please refer to the exam schedule below for specific dates and details.
Grade 10 and 11 students can pick up a copy of their 2024-25 timetable on June 14th. Timetable adjustments can be made beginning on June 17th. Please find specific details regarding this process further down in the newsletter.
Locker clean out will occur during the last day of classes on June 14th. If you will be away that day, please be sure to empty your locker and lock your lock on the door, leaving the door open. Textbooks and novels are due on the day of your final exam for that subject. Please return all items to the Learning Commons.
We are wrapping up the year with mixed emotions and congratulations as we say goodbye to many staff moving on to new adventures in education and retirement. There will be some new faces at PK in the fall!
Wishing everyone a fantastic last month of school!
Your Paul Kane Administration
