Academies in Action: Transportation, Logistics, and Distribution Academy
Driving Toward the Future!
TDL students recently had the opportunity to explore career pathways firsthand with a field trip to Werner Enterprises in Omaha. During their visit, students toured the state-of-the-art facility, learned about logistics and supply chain management, and got an up-close look at the technology that keeps freight moving efficiently across the country. Meeting industry professionals and hearing about career opportunities helped students connect classroom learning to real-world possibilities in transportation and logistics.

Behind the Scenes of Manufacturing!
Lozier Corporation also opened its doors to TDL students, providing them with an inside look at the world of manufacturing and distribution. Students observed how raw materials are transformed into finished products, gaining insights into warehousing, automation, and the logistics behind large-scale production. Through hands-on activities and discussions with professionals, students deepened their understanding of how supply chains operate and the essential skills needed for success in the industry.

Hands-On Learning, Real-World Impact!
TDL students aren’t just learning about logistics—they’re putting their skills to work by managing a fully functional warehouse at Bryan High. From inventory management to order fulfillment, students track and deliver teacher supplies across the school while also partnering with Food Bank of the Heartland to package and distribute food to the local community. This hands-on experience gives students a real-world understanding of warehouse operations while making a meaningful impact both inside and outside the school.
Do the FAFSA Nebraska! EducationQuest will be providing FAFSA completion assistance at Bryan High School on Wednesday, April 2. Appointments are available from 8:00 until 2:30. Seniors received a link to sign up. Parents can also call Mrs. Kobes at 531-299-5833 to make an appointment. Completing the FAFSA or an Opt-Out Form is a 2025 graduation requirement.
