Liberty Creek Trail Guide
June 3rd, 2024
Liberty Creek Families,
As the school year comes to a close, I want to express my deepest gratitude to each of you for making this year truly remarkable. Our K-2 students have blossomed in so many ways, and it's all thanks to the incredible support and dedication from our wonderful community.
This year has been filled with joyous memories, from the excitement of the first day of school to the laughter and learning in our classrooms. Our young explorers have shown amazing growth and resilience, and it has been a privilege to witness their journey.
Your involvement and enthusiasm, whether through participating in school events, helping with classroom activities, or simply being there for your children, have made a significant impact. Together, we have created a nurturing and inspiring environment where our students thrive.
As we head into the summer break, I encourage you to cherish the moments we've shared and continue to nurture the love of learning at home. We are already looking forward to another fantastic school year and can't wait to welcome you back in the fall.
Thank you once again for being such an essential part of the Liberty Creek family, wishing you a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable summer.
With heartfelt thanks,
Alisha Alsaker
Celebrating the Retirement of Ms. Marsh
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to Ms. Marsh for her invaluable role as a counselor at Liberty Creek. Her unwavering support for our students and families has made a lasting impact on our community. Through her compassionate guidance and dedication, Ms. Marsh has helped countless students navigate their challenges and achieve their personal best. While we will deeply miss her presence, we are excited for her as she embarks on this new chapter and wish her a joyful and fulfilling retirement.
One last note from Ms. Marsh
**A Bittersweet Farewell from Ms. Marsh**
It is bittersweet to send out my last counselor newsletter. Liberty Creek has been my “home” for 7 of my 20 years in the Central Valley School District. I started my school counseling career at Liberty Lake Elementary, so this community will always hold a special place in my heart. I am so grateful to have been a part of your child’s educational journey.
As we enter the summer season, I’d like to share some community resources to keep your kids interested and engaged over the summer months. Additionally, please remind them of summer safety rules. Ask them if they can name all the “Never, Never rules,” including the rules about strangers. As kids grow up and become more independent, they need frequent reminders about how to keep themselves safe when they are away from you.
The best part of my job is that I get paid to listen to kids. When you spend quality time with your kids, put your phone down and REALLY listen. Read. Write. Explore. Engage.
Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your lives. Wishing you all a safe and wonderful summer.
Warm regards,
Ms. Marsh

We will walk over at 2:10 PM, with the seniors walking the halls at 2:30 PM. Afterward, we will return to our school for dismissal. If you need to pick up your student early, please do so before 2:10 PM. Otherwise, you will need to wait until we return at 3:15 PM.

Our Volunteer Sign-Up is full! Unfortunately, we are no longer in need of any more volunteers. If you did sign-up, our family fun team will be reaching out to you with more information. Thank you to all of you who will be helping to make this a special event to wrap up our school year.

2023-2024 Attendance
THANK YOU for your efforts in helping us improve our overall attendance from last school year. While we did not meet our goal of having under 15% of our students be considered chronically absent, we had 410 students with regular school attendance and over 41% without any absence issues. We will continue our goal to improve our overall attendance for all students and to reduce absenteeism in 2024-2025. We appreciate your support!
