Hello-I’m Carrie Nelson your School Social Worker. I hope you’re having a great school year

so far! I wanted to let you know my role here at Ozark West Elementary and some of the

ways I can help your child or your family. My primary role is to help provide resources to kids

and families and to be a liaison between school and home.

Things I can help with:

-Providing items through our Care to Learn Program (health, hunger and hygiene)-hygiene

items, food, etc

-Counseling and medical referrals

-Materials to help with bedtime routines, chore charts and preparing for school

-Providing needed items for school (school supplies and clothing)

-Connecting with local resources for clothing and food assistance

Thank you for supporting our school library with the Book Fair! We will be able to purchase $3,520 in new books for our school library from the funds raised!
