What's Happening in School?
Veteran's Day
On Friday, November 8, Spring Trail will host a Veteran’s Day assembly. We are asking any friends and family members who have served in the military to join us. Our hope is that students become more aware of the important role veterans have played in keeping our country safe and free.
The day will begin with coffee and donuts at 8:15 AM for veterans, followed by an all-school assembly at 9:00 AM. The assembly will include an introduction and recognition of veterans, brief speech, and some surprises by our students. If you are interested in participating in our assembly, you can ask your child for the flyer that was sent home this week or contact the office to retrieve the flyer.
Sincerely,
Noelle Dupuis, Principal
Jason Krause, Assistant Principal

Attendance Incentive
It's time for a "squishy" new attendance incentive!!!! Beginning November 4th and running through December 18th, we will be giving out PAW raffle tickets weekly. Students who attend school for a full week will earn a PAW raffle that will be added to a bin for each grade level. This means kiddos will have the opportunity to earn seven PAW raffle tickets!!!! We can't wait to give away those tickets for all those who are present and engaged at Spring Trail! On December 18th, Mr. Krause and Mrs. Dupuis will give away EIGHT squishmallows!!! Will your child come home with one?!?!?!?
Spring Trail Phone Line
We have had a few parents reach out stating they are unable to reach the office in the morning. Please understand that the phone will be redirect to our attendance line until approximately 8:30am. We ask that you please leave a message stating the reason for your child's absence and if you need a call back from the staff. You are also welcome to send an email to our attendance address at springtrailattendance@u-46.org.
If you need to speak directly to the nurse or principals, please follow the prompts on the message to redirect the line.
Thank you!
Diwali
Diwali, also known as the "Festival of Lights," is one of the most significant and widely celebrated festivals in India and among Indian communities worldwide. It typically spans five days and marks the triumph of light over darkness and good over evil. The festival is deeply rooted in Hindu culture but is also celebrated by Jains, Sikhs, and Buddhists, each attributing different meanings and legends to the occasion.
This year, Diwali began on October 31 and will conclude on November 4. The festival's timing varies each year based on the Hindu lunar calendar, often occurring in October or November. The main celebration (Lakshmi Puja) typically taking place on the darkest night of the Hindu lunisolar month, Kartika. The dates are significant because they are determined by the positioning of the moon, making Diwali not just a time of celebration but also a celestial event that reflects the harmony between traditional practices and natural cycles.
The staff at Spring Trail would like to wish everyone who celebrates a very prosperous Diwali! May your celebration be filled with joy and light!
Halloween was a BLAST!!!!!!!!
I am always impressed by the number of families that come out to the building to celebrate Halloween with us! I'm so grateful that the weather cooperated for us this year even though it was a little windy! I think the kids enjoyed showing off their costumes. I know the staff at Spring Trail really enjoyed showing you all how we DOVE into LEARNING this year!!!

Right At School
If you are in need of childcare before or after school, Right At School has openings. The best part about the program is that it is housed right at Spring Trail. The staff are wonderful and they help ensure the children get their homework completed.
Right At School
Our very own Right At School friends are hosting a fundraiser to support Anderson Animal Shelter. Please consider donating.
Lost and Found
This bike has been sitting on the bike stand for several days. I believe the chain is off which makes it difficult to move. If this belongs to you, be sure to swing by to pick it up but you might want to adjust that chain first.
