IB English
Huzzah! This December, Mr. Falk's IB juniors will bring one of the Bard's most famous plays to life by performing scenes from Shakespeare's The Tragedy of Macbeth. Each performance will take place live, and students will wear costumes of their own design, bring props, and memorize lines. They can choose to work with their peers in collaborative groups or fortify their personal resolve to perform a soliloquy. This exciting project will act as the culmination to a five-week unit spent reading, analyzing, and writing about one of the most iconic tragedies ever written in the English language and will allow students to showcase their understanding in an active and creative format worthy of Shakespeare's approval.
