Principal's Kōrero
Kia ora everyone
We're thrilled to announce that our school production is almost ready to take the stage! It's been a long time since we've had a school production, making this a new and exciting experience for most students. I am incredibly proud of our tamariki for stepping outside their comfort zones and giving this a go. Through this process, they've gained valuable skills and confidence. We can't wait to share this performance with you all. Please remember to adhere to the specified pick-up and drop-off times to ensure the smooth running of the production. Every child's participation is crucial to the production's success, so we hope all students can attend their scheduled performances.
Due to overwhelming demand, our evening performances are nearly sold out. We understand the desire for more showings, but the demanding nature of two evening performances and the late nights for our young performers prevent us from adding a third. We appreciate your understanding.
We successfully completed most of our Kāhui Ako Athletics Day yesterday before the weather turned. Our students' shined in their efforts, sportsmanship, and positive attitudes.
This is a busy time of year for schools, and I want to express our sincere gratitude to our dedicated staff. They've worked tirelessly to prepare for end-of-year events, assessments, and report writing.
We're currently working on finalising class placements for the 2025 school year. To help us with this process, please let us know as soon as possible if your child will not be returning to Inglewood Primary next year. We plan to introduce students to their 2025 teachers and classes before the end of this year.
We extend a huge thank you to everyone who has helped us keep our tamariki safe at the school gate. Your cooperation in avoiding the entranceway with cars has significantly improved our end-of-day routine and made it much safer for our students.
We look forward to sharing more updates and celebrating the end of another successful year together.
Nga mihi
