Looking For Your Child's Orientation/Open House Schedule?
Orientation and Open House schedules for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year are now available. If you do not see the information listed on your child's school website, please visit www.spsk12.net, for locations, dates and times. Please note that it is crucial for all families to attend these events as your child's school teachers and administrative teams will be sharing important information for both parents and students. For questions regarding Orientation/Open House, please contact your child's school directly.
Spring SOL Parent Reports Are Now Available
To help provide families and teachers a more comprehensive picture of student progress, the VDOE has developed a new Spring SOL Parent Report which is designed to provide additional information in a clear format about student performance this past year. If you would like a copy of the Spring SOL Parent Report, please contact your child's school directly. Upon request, you will be provided with a personalized code to access your students' individual reports. The Home Access Center Will Remain Offline to Parents/Students until August 12th!
REMINDER: The Home Access Center will remain offline for parents and students until August 12th. The Teacher Access Center will be turned off from August 5th to August 12th as schedules are finalized.

Don't Wait...Vaccinate! Get Your Child's Back-to-School Vaccines Early!
Children who will be entering Kindergarten this fall are required to have the following vaccines:
- Dtap
- Polio
- MMR
- Varicella (Chickenpox)
- Hepatitus A (first dose followed by 2nd dose in 6 months)
- Hepatitus B
Children who will be entering 7th-grade this fall are required to have the following vaccines:
- HPV
- MenACWY
- Tdap
Children entering 12th-grade are required to have the following vaccines:
MenACWY
If your child needs vaccines and does not have a healthcare provider, you can locate a provider in the Virginia Vaccines for Children (VVFC) program. These providers administer free vaccines to persons who are not able to pay. Suffolk Public Schools is Participating in the 2024 Summer Food Service Program
School is out, but summer meals are in! All children will receive meals at no cost. Meals are the same for all children regardless of race, color, national origin, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, or age. There will be no discrimination during meal service. Meals will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis at the sites and times listed below. Children must remain onsite while consuming their meals. Meals will be offered Monday-Thursday (with the exception of July 4th) from July 1st - August 1st.
King's Fork High School:

Breakfast 7:00 a.m. - 7:30 a.m.
Lunch 11:30 a.m. - Noon
King's Fork Middle School:
