This month, we’re all about perseverance—working hard, overcoming challenges, and celebrating progress. Be sure to ask your child how they’re practicing perseverance and recognizing their growth, even when the going gets tough.

Routines help kids thrive, giving them confidence and focus to shine at school and home. Here are a few simple tips to make the return to structure a breeze:
✔️ Set consistent bedtimes for better sleep.
✔️ Prep school bags and outfits the night before for stress-free mornings.
✔️ Stick to an after-school routine to help kids wind down.

🌟 What’s New in the Classroom?
We’re wrapping up our Empathy Unit and diving into Emotional Management – key skills to help students navigate their feelings and build meaningful friendships. Keep the conversation going at home by asking, “How are you feeling today?” A little chat can go a long way!

At Lincoln, we have a “treat free” birthday policy. In conjunction with our wellness policy and various allergies.

They can however celebrate their birthday by donating a book to the classroom or our school library. Books will be identified with the student’s name and birthdate and shared with the class. In addition, student names are announced in the morning and they receive a birthday pencil from the office.
