PRINCIPAL'S UPDATE
Hello Eagle Crest Families,
It has been a busy and exciting week here at Eagle Crest! Last weekend, we proudly hosted a robotics competition with 140 student participants, and we also celebrated five of our 5th graders who represented our school at the All-State Choir. This week, we’ve connected with families during conferences and had a jam-packed Late Start Wednesday filled with meaningful learning and collaboration.
Speaking of conferences, we have now completed two of our three scheduled nights, and it has been wonderful to meet with so many families to celebrate student progress and set goals for the remainder of the year. If you missed your conference or haven’t yet scheduled one, there’s still time! Please call the main office to set up a time to meet with your child’s teacher. Ongoing communication is key to supporting student learning, and we want to ensure every family has the opportunity to connect.
Thank you for being such a wonderful part of our school community. Wishing you a great weekend!
Warmly,
Amanda

DEAN OF STUDENTS’ UPDATE
Hello Eagle Crest Families!
Thank you for your time and commitment to connecting with teachers during conferences! These conversations are a valuable part of supporting student growth and success, and we appreciate your partnership as we work together through the rest of the school year—it’s hard to believe we are almost two-thirds of the way through!
Meanwhile, winter just can’t seem to make up its mind! With the constant shifts in temperature, our Lost and Found is overflowing with hats, gloves, sweatshirts, and coats. We have searched for names and had items organized for families to check during Conferences, but many of them remain unclaimed. If your student is missing something, please stop by any day before 4:00pm to take a look. All remaining items will be donated next Thursday, February 13th.
Thank you for being such a great part of our school community--we look forward to continuing to partner with you to support the success of your child at Eagle Crest!
All the best,
Lindsey Cheney
