ATHLETICS
Student Athlete Profile: Paul Kim
Student Athlete Profile: Paul Kim 12th grade
How long have you been wrestling ?
I started wrestling 4 years ago, my freshman year. At first I didn’t have too much interested, but then coach Monico and Jose asked me join up since my brother was wrestling. I didn’t really like the first practice, it was super super hard, but then I really enjoyed it.
What is your favorite wrestling memory so far ?
I think it was yesterday, we won league. These last couple of years we just missed it by a little, but this year we did it. We also won league our freshmen year.
What are your plans for after high school?
Hopefully get some offers from some of the schools I applied to, but for sure major in kinesiology. So I’ll hopefully go to Cal state long beach, Fullerton, Bakersfield, Pomana, and also to UC Irvine, UCLA, and UC Riverside. Hopefully I can also get some wrestling offers from a couple of schools as well.
Who is your favorite teacher?
Its Mrs. Villanueva, she is really one of the nicest teachers I have ever met, plus she is super supportive.
