It is with mixed emotions that we congratulate Mr. Armenta on his promotion to Senior Data Processing Tech. Although we are thrilled for this amazing opportunity and so proud of this accomplishment, Mr. Armenta will be greatly missed by our staff, students and community. Please join us in wishing him well as he heads on to his new role at the District Office. Mr. Armenta's last day at Legacy will be Thursday 12/19.

Dear Legacy Families,

As the time has come for me to say goodbye, I find myself reflecting on the moments we've shared and the memories we've created together. It’s hard to put into words what this experience has meant to me, but I want you to know how grateful I am for the time we spent. You’ve made an impact on my life, and I will carry the lessons and memories with me wherever I go. While it's difficult to part ways, I am excited about the next chapter and the opportunities that lie ahead. I will always look back fondly on our time together and hold you all in my thoughts. I hope our paths cross again in the future, but until then, please know that I am wishing you all the best.

We are thrilled to announce that two Legacy 7th grade students, Ethan and Valentina, have won the 2024-25 VE-JV Dream Job Essay Contest! 🎉 This prestigious national competition challenges students to explore their career aspirations by crafting a well-researched essay about their dream job.

As winners, Ethan and Valentina will have the incredible opportunity to participate in a video conference with professionals in their chosen fields, gaining valuable insights and inspiration for their futures. Their essays stood out for being exceptionally well-written and for showcasing their determination and thorough research in identifying their dream careers. Congratulations, Ethan and Valentina!

The Tide is rising! Middle School Basketball tryouts (for boys and girls, grades 6th-8th) are happening on Monday, December 9th. The season fee is $35, and payments will only be collected after the Winter break when practices start. To sign up, scan the QR code on the flyer or visit the link tinyurl.com/LMABASKETBALL. Practice times will be after school, and days will be determined.

Hello LMA families!!!!

Get ready for a night of fun and games at our Family Bingo Night on December 13th, doors open at 5:00 PM, Bingo starts at 6:30 PM.

It’s a perfect chance to hang out with your kiddos, other families and our LMA Community. We’ve got music, awesome prizes, and even more Bingo cards for sale to boost your winning chances! Each LMA student will receive a free bingo set with their student ID. Bingo sets are $5 for three games.

To support our classrooms, we’ll have drinks, snacks, and food for purchase.

The online Holiday Auction at Legacy begins today! We are offering an amazing opportunity to gift your students with one-of-a-kind experiences with their favorite teachers/staff. From being PE Coach for the Day to learning to cook Korean food with their friends, there are over 30 experiences to choose from. Today during seminar and lunch we had our Winter Club Fair where clubs sold holiday themed treats. We hope you enjoyed checking out the different holiday booths!

Yesterday we had a PBIS Hot Cocoa Stand during lunch. We hope you enjoyed the warm treat in the cold weather.

Continue to support our Angel Tree Drive until Friday, the 13th! We are accepting new or gently used toys. Visit the tree in the front office to choose an ornament that represents a child in need. All toys will be donated to the Tustin Family and Youth Center! By donating a present with a Post-it with your name and email attached, you will be entered into a drawing to win a Minnie Mouse or Marvel Loungefly backpack!

Friday, December 13th, is our next Rise Pop Up shop. Continue to show RISE to use your RISE tickets at the pop-up shops.

Loose threads is holding a clothing drive now until December 19th. Make sure to bring new or lightly used clothing (no socks or underwear) into your 3rd period class to win a donut and hot cocoa party!

High Schoolers! Save the date for the 2025 Winter Formal coming your way, on January 25th at the Tustin Ranch Golf Course! More details are coming soon so keep an eye out for any announcements, you won't want to miss out. Also, don't forget, prom is coming up too! So make sure you look out for more reminders and information about the dance.

Next Monday is our first TIDEpool Tutoring session. This is a time for Middle School students to receive help from their High School mentors. It will take place in Mr. Maduenos' room every Monday during point break.
