Weekly Parent Newsletter

The annual election cycle will begin in Mid-April for the open Parent seat. If you'd like to be considered a candidate for the KOSON/STEM BOD Elections, please email stem.board@stemk12.org. One of our Board members will respond with opportunities for interested families to meet to ask questions about what the Board does.

A candidate interest form will be distributed in March for those who would like to be considered as a candidate. Information from that form will be used to create a Candidate Book to circulate amongst the STEM Community via the Weekly Newsletter to help inform our community of the candidates.

Colder temperatures and the end-of-the-semester excitement are here! Students and staff are entering the home stretch, and Winter Break is right around the corner.

Thank you to our students and families for attending our Winter performances this past week. Seeing our students shine in our fine arts programs is always exciting. Please join us for one last holiday performance as our kindergarteners will showcase their talents on Wednesday, starting at 5:30 p.m., in the Elementary School Gym.

Our annual Staff Elf Cart of Happiness this coming week continues the holiday festivities for our staff. This is when our administration team goes around the building, bringing special treats, hot coffee, and hot chocolate for our staff to partake in. If you’d like to donate toward making this day special, we're in need of Coffee Travelers. Click here for the sign-up.
