The 2025-2026 Plano Band will be launching soon!!!! All members of the 25-26 Plano Band will need to these two groups below to make sure you get all importation information when it's released!

ALL CURRENT JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES ARE REQUIRED TO JOIN THE FOLLOWING TWO GROUPS:

1. "2025-2026 PLANO BAND" Google Classroom (students only)

2. "25-26 Plano Band" on the BAND App! (Parents are encouraged to join as well!)

SUMMER DATES ARE BELOW!!!

1. Have a fantastic week of rehearsals

2. Fully prepare for this week's Pre-UIL Concert

1. Jack Delaney Clinic, today during all band classes + WE Afterschool 4:45-6:45p

2. Stage Set-up, tomorrow @ 7:15a (all Leadership required)

3. Rehearsals on Stage, Tues-Fri

3. Sectionals this week, during classes (NO PRIVATE LESSONS)

• SYM/WE: Tuesday only

4. UIL Orchestra Concert & Sightreading Evaluation, tomorrow @ RFAC

• Class release: periods 3-7
• Meet in orch. room at 11:30a in full concert attire with everything you need for the day (music, instrument, accessories)
• Performance: 1:20p
• Sightreading: 2:05p
• Return to PSHS: 4:00p
• Bring $$$ for CiCi's

5. SAT Day - All Juniors, Wednesday

6. Concert Band After School Rehearsal, w/ Mr. Patterson, Wednesday 4:45-6:45p (TEST GRADE)

7. Plano Cluster Pre-UIL Concert Series, Thurs/Fri 6-9p (test grade for all students)

• Thursday
• Concert Band: Uncase in Ens. Room, Warm-up 5:40p In Dance Rm, Perform 6:30p, Clinic immediately following in Orch. Room
• Symphonic Band: Uncase Instr. Storage, Warm-up 7:10p In Band Hall, Perform 8:00p, Clinic immediately following on stage
• Friday
• Wind Ensemble: Uncase Instr. Storage, Warm-up 6:40p in Band Hall, Perform 7:30p, Clinic immediately following on stage

7. Plano Jazz Festival, Saturday @ PSHS

• Jazz Collective Performance - 11:00a
• Jazz Ensemble Performance - 4:15p
• Texas Tech Jazz Faculty (Guest Artists) Performance: 7:30p

1. UIL Solo & Ensemble Registration & Entry Fee - PAST DUE!

• please register and pay at www.pshsband.org

2. Plano Chamber Winds Festival - $10 entry fee PAST DUE

• Participation in this festival is required of every wind player in the Plano Band (test grade)

3. Band Spring Trip Payment #7 - $116 - PAST DUE - final payment ($772 total in account)

1. HONORS BAND Spring Semester Assignments (see attached timeline)

• HONORS BAND Google Classroom (honors band students are required to join if not already a member.)

1. Richard Floyd Clinic, March 10 during all band classes + WE Afterschool 4:45-6:45p

2. Jazz/Drumline performances at Hedgecoxe Elementary, March 14 during school

3. End of 3rd Nine Weeks' Grading Period, March 14

• Any student who fails an onlevel course at the end of the 3rd Nine Weeks is INELIGIBLE to go on the trip!!!!!!!!

4. Spring Break, March 17-21

5. Student Holiday, March 24

6. Wind Ensemble After School Rehearsal, March 27, 4:45-6:45p

7. UIL Concert & Sightreading Evaluation, April 1-2 @ RFAC (schedule TBD)
