Weekly Spotlight: Counselors' Corner
MOCK TRIAL IS HERE!
Are you interested in the law? Do you like to act or role play? Do you like to argue? If you said “yes” to any of these, Mock Trial might be a great club for you! Students have an opportunity to play the roles of lawyers and witnesses in a realistic court case. If you are interested in joining Mock Trial or finding out more information, meet in Mrs. Clapper’s room 309 after school on Wednesday, November 13th. This informational meeting should last about 30 minutes. Again, that’s Mrs. Clapper’s room 309 after school on Wednesday.
From the Desk of Mr. Fisher
Loaners-
Please help your student have their Chromebook ready for school each day by charging it at night. Once students receive 3 loaners for the nine weeks they get a warning about having their Chromebooks ready. . Anything after that during that 9-week period students will receive a lunch detention and more loaners result in more consequences.
Badges-
Students that receive ___ temporary badges for not having their badge at school will get a verbal warning. Once they get another temporary badge they will get a lunch detention and consequences progress per nine weeks as they get more temporary badges in that nine week period.
Tardies to School-
After a student accumulates their 4th tardy to school that student gets a warning from the office that the next tardy to school will result in varying lengths of after school detentions.
Reminder: Both of these consequences reset back to zero at the beginning of each 9-weeks.
