Principal's Message
Dear Martone Families,
As we prepare to take a short break from school for Thanksgiving, we want to express our gratitude for everyone who makes it possible for as many as scholars as possible to come to school every day on time and ready to learn. We thank:
•Our children and families for making daily attendance a priority since they know the habit of attendance will help them do well in the classroom and eventually in life – career and or college.
•Our wonderful teacher who pour their energy into making each classroom an exciting place for exploration and knowledge so children do not want to miss out on learning.
•Our support staff and community who provide supporting hands and attention our scholars need.
Attendance:
Our goal is 96 % and we are currently at 95.30%
Please ensure that you drop your student before the first bell at 8:25 am. When the second bell rings at 8:30 am students are already supposed to be seated in class and ready to learn.
Drop off and Pick up:
Just a reminder that it is imperative that you use the Drop off lane for before/after school drop off and pick up. It is a safety concern when multiple cars are double parked in front of the office and along the Red Zone, where staff are parked.
Fall Festival:
We want to give a heartfelt THANK YOU to our dedicated teachers and staff who diligently worked to prepare the Fall Festival. A huge shout out goes to the committee that was comprised of Mrs. Mello, Mrs. Sarah Cervantes Luke, Ms. Hopkins and Ms. Thai-Tang. It was great to see such a community event with vendors, mascots, a fire truck and retired police officers. It was awesome to see so many students enjoys games with their peers, siblings and families.
We appreciate each of you so much. We look forward to seeing you after the Thanksgiving holiday on 12/2/24.
Sincerely,
Mr. Harvey
