Electronic Equipment
Some of our children received electronic readers over the holidays. We are thrilled that our children have another incentive to read, but would like to set parameters for school use. First, the school cannot be responsible for any damage or loss to this equipment. Teachers in kindergarten through third grade would prefer that students not bring these readers to school. Students in grades four through six may use their electronic readers during silent reading times.
Winter Reminders
Please note that the building does not open until the first bus arrives, approximately at 8:20 AM. Students dropped off before this time will not be allowed to enter the building.
We do our best to have our students out for recess every day - even if it is only for 10-15 minutes. Please be sure your children come prepared with coats, hats and mittens (labeled with their names).

Reporting From Doyle Elementary’s Library:
The Mothman’s Shadow by Jason Strange is a good horror story with short chapters and lots of scary moments. It’s a quick read. It may remind you of Goose Bumps as it has a good twist at the end. I recommend this book to mature 5th and 6th graders.
Signing Off, Tristan Hartwick
