Good Neighbor Reminder
Please use extra caution and consideration during pick up and drop off times. Watching for pedestrians, pulling up to a curb instead of double-parking, and maintaining a slow speed are ways to be considerate to our Tartar families and surrounding THS community.
Please share this message with your student driver and any family or friends who may be driving your student to and from school. It takes everyone’s participation to keep our families and neighbors safe.
All TUSD schools are offering FREE daily breakfast and lunch during this upcoming 2024-2025 school year through the California Universal Meals Program.
Although meals are free of charge, all families are still highly recommended to fill out the Educational Benefit Form and submit the documentation that our District needs to continue to provide this benefit.
Applications provide several benefits to families that qualify:
1. EBT benefits
2. Discounted fees associated with the college application process
3. Discounted internet access and wireless services
4. Discounted fees associated with SAT, ACT, and AP tests
5. Increased funding to support student's access to an exemplary education
The information collected on these forms ensures our schools receive funding to support the learning of low income students and can offer your family additional benefits such as discounted fees. Other areas supported by this funding include intervention, additional academic counseling, socio-emotional counseling, and reading recovery.
