BW Update - September 5, 2024

Dear families,

We have received a number of queries regarding the status of the purchasing of school supplies for students and school supply lists. I want to clarify any confusion over our transition.

Earlier in the spring, it was decided that beginning this September, the Bristol Warren Regional School District would no longer ask families to purchase school supplies. However, making these types of transitions from past practice can sometimes be complex and lead to misunderstanding of the new practice.

As such, some families may have inadvertently received school supply lists this week. Please ignore these lists. Students will receive any and all needed supplies for their classwork from their school. This includes any notebooks, pens, folders, and any other tools needed for academic work.

We are a well-funded school district that operates with efficiency and manages our budget to benefit our students. On behalf of our schools, I apologize for any misunderstanding or inconvenience caused by this transition.
