Please register your child for the 2025-2026 Kindergarten year if he/she will be 5 years old on or before August 31, 2025.

"The PTA is excited to announce that our next fundraiser is a BBQ plate sale. Please be on the lookout this week for an envelope from PTA in your child's folder. This envelope will contain 5 tickets that we would love for you to sell to friends, family, and neighbors. Each ticket is $10 and gets 1 BBQ plate. The plate includes delicious pork BBQ, green beans, slaw and a roll - all provided by Southern Coals. Please write each person's name and phone number on the ticket, and put that portion and their money back into the envelope. Leave the rest of the ticket with the buyer for them to bring to pick their plate up. Pick up for the plates will be at our Vendor Fair on March 22nd from 11 am - 5 pm at Vass Park. Your child will be entered into a drawing for a prize for every 5 tickets they sell. More tickets are available upon request! Please return all sold tickets, money, and unsold tickets in the envelope to your child's teacher by March 10th. "Our PTA is excited to announce that we will be hosting a VLE Spirit Night once a month at Rudino's Pizza & Grinders in Southern Pines. Participating is simple - have lunch or dinner at Rudino's on our scheduled days and we will receive a portion of the profits. Carry-out and Door Dash purchases are included. Tell them that you're from Vass-Lakeview Elementary to show your school spirit! Our first Spirit Night is Monday, February 3rd, from 11:00 am - 10:00 pm. Help us spread the word to your friends and family! We hope to see you there!"
