Editing your notifications

Did you know that you can control the notifications that you receive from the school and district?

To edit your settings, select the person icon in the top right and select Settings. Then select Notification Settings. From this page you can determine how often you are notified regarding your students grades and attendance.

Next, select Contact Preferences. From this page you can select what types of phone calls and emails you receive. You can also determine what phone lines you want to use and if you want to text message notifications. Please note that Moore County Schools is not using the Behavior or Food Services system, so you will NOT receive notifications from these features.

Did you know that you can update your contact information?

You can review your student’s household information and change phone numbers, emails, and addresses through parent portal. To update your information, select the three line menu from the top left of the screen and select “More.” From there select Family Information.

From here you can see the family tied to your child. You can also see the emergency contract priority, phone numbers, and email addresses. To update your information, select the Update box to the right of the information you wish to update and complete the form.

You can also request to update your addresses and household information under Address Information. Please note that address information cannot be updated without bringing in updated proof of domicile- a utility bill with usage or purchase agreement with down payment.

Did you know you can pay your child’s school fees through the parent portal app?

To pay your fees, select the three line menu from the top left of the screen and select “Fees.”

This page will show you all your child’s pending fees. You can Filter to look at individual students or all students at one time. To pay a fee simply select the blue Add to Cart icon to the right. When you are ready to pay select “My Cart” from the top right. You can then enter payment information and process your fees.

Note there is a 4% service fee for paying online. You can also still pay in cash or check in person at your child’s individual school.
