Please remind your student(s) that toys are to be kept at home and not brought to school. We cannot be held responsible for missing or broken items brought from home. We know it's exciting to share favorite toys with friends but we don't want sad or upset students if something happens to their favorite toy. For this simple reason, please leave all toys at home. Thank you for your partnership.

This is a reminder to please talk with your students about playground safety. We want recess to be a fun time, but there are rules that must be followed for the safety of everyone on the playground.

• There is no jumping off of the playground structures.
• Follow instructions of all staff and teachers on the playground.
• Pay attention to whistles when they are blown.
• There is to be no pushing or shoving on the playground.

We want everyone to be safe and have a lot of fun. We appreciate your partnership in talking with your students.

Becoming an approved volunteer allows you to chaperone field trips, volunteer in your child's classroom and at various activities throughout the year.

We in the Tukwila School District acknowledge that the land where we teach, collaborate, learn and play is the traditional land of the first people of Seattle, the Duwamish and Muckleshoot people past and present and honor with gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish and Muckleshoot Tribes.
